On June 17, 2025, the Taalim-Forum Public Foundation held the second pilot training session, “ReAction: Developing Strategies to Counter Cyberbullying Among Youth” for two target groups - faculty and students of the T. Ermatov Bishkek Music and Pedagogical Institute (BMPI).
The rector of BMPI, Professor U.E. Mambetakunov, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He noted that the institute, founded in 1966, combines a respectful approach to educational traditions with the implementation of innovative methods in the training of teaching staff in Kyrgyzstan. The rector expressed his gratitude to the “Taalim-Forum” team for their contribution to improving digital literacy and raising awareness of cyberbullying and cyberhate among young people.
Twenty-five people participated in the training. Participants actively engaged in discussions, shared their experiences, and learned to use the proposed digital tools, including Mentimeter, Padlet, and Kahoot.
The training modules were designed to develop skills in recognizing cyber threats, strengthening digital security, and developing response strategies in an educational setting. The interactive and practical approach was highly praised by participants, including both teachers and students.
The training was conducted as part of the DAAD international project “Together Against Online Hate: Prevention and Intervention Strategies for Youth in Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, and Ukraine,” aimed at preventing cyberbullying among Youth.
