On June 13, 2025, the Taalim-Forum Public Foundation held a training session for educators titled “ReAction Training for Educators: Preventing Cyberhate and Cyberbullying among Youth” as part of an international research project.
The training was attended by teachers, vice principals, principals - representatives of educational institutions who work with teenagers on a daily basis and play a key role in creating a safe digital environment.
The goal of the training was to raise educators’ awareness and equip them with effective strategies to protect young people from cyberhate and cyberbullying.
As part of the training, modules developed by the project team based on contextual analysis were tested. The program included four modules:
1. What is cyberbullying and cyberhate? - an introduction to key concepts and forms of manifestation
2. How to recognize cyberhate? - skills for identifying threats in the online space
3. How to ensure a digital shield? - digital safety and self-defense tools
4. What should a protection strategy look like? - developing effective solutions for schools
The training was based on interactive teaching methods, including teamwork, case studies, group solution modeling, and reflection.
To engage participants and enhance digital literacy, modern digital applications such as Mentimeter, Padlet, and online collaboration tools were used.
The training was conducted as part of the DAAD international project “Together Against Online Hate: Prevention and Intervention Strategies for Youth in Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, and Ukraine,” aimed at preventing cyberbullying among Youth.
